Governor Murphy and United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge to Host Groundbreaking for the Rebuild by Design Hudson River Project in Hoboken
Governor Phil Murphy, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge, and federal, state, and local officials will host a groundbreaking for the Rebuild by Design resiliency project in Hoboken on Thursday morning at Pier A Park. The project, made possible by over $230 million in Sandy recovery funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, has been in planning stages for several years. It will serve to protect the city of Hoboken from the effects of storm surge flooding and climate change.
