The City of Hoboken and the Mile Square Theatre will partner to provide acting classes to Hoboken residents between 6 and 13 years old starting this October.
Mile Square Theatre Teaching Artists will teach children the basics of acting through energetic theater games and character work as well as creative improvisation and more.
The five-week course is limited to 13 students per class.
The program is $60 per student.

Acting 101 – Basic Acting Skills
Ages: 6 – 9 years old
Dates: Fridays from Oct. 14 – Nov. 11
Time: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Where: Mile Square Theatre, Studio B, 1400 Clinton St.
Learn the basics of acting in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Through energetic theater games and character work we’ll tackle the question every actor must ask: “What’s my objective?” Class will culminate in a presentation for family and friends.

Class will culminate in a presentation for family and friends.
