Rodriguez & Wainstein Roll To Assembly Victory In District 33 Assembly Primary

Senator Brian Stack’s Democratic Assembly team of incumbent Gabriel Rodriguez and businessman Larry Wainstein handily defeated Tony Hector and Frank Alonso, candidates supported by North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco.

According to the Hudson County Clerk’s Office, with 100 percent of districts reporting, Rodriguez and Wainstein won with 37 and 32.4 percent of the vote respectively, compared to 15 percent for Hector and Alonso.

In November’s General Election, Rodriguez and Wainstein will take on Republican nominees Anthony Valdes and Cynthia Depice, who ran unopposed.
