Secaucus BOE Election: "Change We Need" Ticket Leads on Wednesday Morning

With mail-in and provisional ballots still to be counted, the ‘Change We Need” slate of Leah Farinola, Abigail Gonzalez and Ruby Kish are leading the Secaucus Board of Education election.

Incumbent board members Joan Cali and Mary Eccles trailed the leaders by a significant margin.

The ticket of Kish, Gonzalez and Farinola ran on a platform of wanting more transparency and communication from the Board of Education, something they said was lacking during last year’s school closure and virtual learning due to the pandemic.
