As the new school year draws ever closer, the Town of Secaucus is collecting school supplies foe needy children. The Town’s Department of Social Services is asking the public to donate backpacks and other items for kids in all grades.
Among the needed supplies for the Back to School Drive are:
• Backpacks
• Notebooks
• Composition books
• Pencils
• Pens
• Elmer’s glue
• Ruler
• Erasers
• Scissors
• Crayons
If you’d like to make a donation, you can drop off your school items Monday through Friday between 9 am and 2 pm at 145 Front Street.
On Saturday, August 13 there will be a special drop off day.
The Town thanks you in advance for any contributions you can make to help the school supply drive.
