Secaucus Getting a COVID Vaccination Site

The Town of Secaucus is getting a COVID vaccination site.  Patch.com was first to report this afternoon that a vaccine distribution center will be located next to the town’s Recreation Center beginning in January.   The site will be for Secaucus residents only.

The Moderna COVID vaccine is expected to arrive in Secaucus the last week of this month, or early in January, according to Patch.

Who can get the vaccine?  The Town will follow the guidelines mandated by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.  In order:

  • Hospital workers
  • Emergency personnel, i.e., police & firefighters
  • Persons over age 65
  • General public

Secaucus resident will have to sign up online.  Details will be announced soon.
