Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller has provided the following list of arrests for the week of October 18th through the 24th:

Secaucus Police Blotter  –  10/18/2021-10/24/2021

  • On 10/18/2021 at 11:08 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Androver Mora of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for having in his possession a license plate that was reported stolen out of Jersey City, NJ.  Mr. Mora was served his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/18/2021 at 4:03 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a Shoplifting.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Matthew Ninos of Maspeth, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)].  Mr. Ninos was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/19/2021 at 12:51 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Pablo Baltazar of Brooklyn, NY for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement.  Mr. Baltazar was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Marlboro, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Rahway, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option.  Mr. Baltazar was able to post bail for the involved warrants.  Mr. Baltazar was issued his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/19/2021 at 9:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Jayzhere Lewis of Paterson, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)].  Mr. Lewis was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/20/2021 at 7:06 PM, Secaucus Police responded to CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 34 year old male, Maliek Keller of Brooklyn, NY for shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)].  Mr. Keller was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/21/2021 at 9:21 PM, Officer’s from the Guttenberg Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 57 year old male, John Smallze of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00.  Mr. Smallze was unable to post bail for the involved and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 10/22/2021 at 2:45 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Phillipsburg Police Department to take into custody a 35 year old male, Kalimuallah Greene of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant with no bail that was issued by the Secaucus Police Department in reference to a motor vehicle theft that occurred on 03/22/2021 in the area of 1351 Paterson Plank Road.  The outstanding warrant was issued for the charges of Theft [2C:20-3A] and Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)].  Mr. Greene was served the complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On 10/22/2021 at 3:50 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Port Logistics located at 125 Castle Road on a call for service.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Devaughn Symart of Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $600.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Orange, NJ in the amount of $350.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Florham Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option.  East Orange, along with Orange and Florham Park did release Mr. Symart on his own recognizance pending future court dates and he was released from police custody.
  • On 10/22/2021 at 3:55 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old female, Andeejah Marquez of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Marquez was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/22/2021 at 9:15 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Jorge Bardales of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Psilocybin Mushrooms [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be over one ounce of Marijuana [2C:35-5(B)(11B)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Money Laundering [2C:21-25A]. Mr. Bardales was served his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/23/2021 at 4:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Luis Guerrero-Cobo of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $99.00.  Mr. Guerrero-Cobo was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/23/2021 at 10:02 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Union Beer Distributors located at 46 Meadowland Parkway on a report of a vehicle driving erratically.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Joan Marulanda-Usma of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00.  Mr. Marulanda-Usma was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 10/24/2021 at 9:50 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Maurice Morgan of Paterson, NJ for Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B].  Mr. Morgan was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.     

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
