Secaucus Police Chief Miller Announces Arrests Made For Week of August 23

Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller this afternoon revealed the arrests made by the Department for the week of August 23-29:

  • On 08/24/2021 at 3:14 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Fatah Iarkane of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00.  Mr. Iarkane was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
  • On 08/25/2021 at 12:41 AM, Officer’s from the Jersey City Police Department responded to the Secaucus Police Department Headquarters to transfer custody of a 28 year old male, Deonte Borders of Bayonne, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $500.00.  Mr. Border was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.
  • On 08/25/2021 at 2:12 PM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of 40 Wood Avenue.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old male, Elan Poricki of Wayne, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail.  Officer’s from the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Poricki for transport to their authority.
  • On 08/27/2021 at 7:41 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 52 year old male, Joseph Brown of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail.  Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Brown for transport to their authority.
  • On 08/27/2021 at 9:10 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 400 Route 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 52 year old male, Siddharth Mukherjee of Rutherford, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail.  Mr. Mukherjee was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing the police with false information.  The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office did release Mr. Mukherjee on his own recognizance pending a future court date in relation to the outstanding warrant.  Mr. Mukherjee was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
  • On 08/29/2021 at 5:33 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31 year old male, Angel Soto-Lopez of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Belmar, NJ in the amount of $150.00.  The Belmar Police Department did release Mr. Soto-Lopez on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
  • On 08/29/2021 at 7:00 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Route 3 East and Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of a motor vehicle accident.  During the investigation, the police arrested a 35 year old male, Lathan Cenord of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00.  Mr. Cenord was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody.     

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
