Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller has announced that a promotion ceremony will take place at 7 o’clock this evening at Buchmuller Park.
The Department will be promoting one Captain, Austin Hawxhurst, one Lieutenant, Scott Langevin and one Sergeant, Chester Dobosz. In addition, Oakley, the Police Department’s Therapy Dog, will officially receive his badge.
In the event of rain this evening, the promotion ceremony will move inside the ice rink next to the park.
Members of the public are invited to attend the festivities. Masks should be worn and social distancing will be maintained.
