Secaucus, NJ – The Secaucus Police Department remained active during the week of 02/05/2024 to 02/11/2024, responding to various incidents across the city.

On 02/06/2024, the police made several arrests, including that of a 64-year-old male, Raymond Koeller of Secaucus, for Driving While Intoxicated. Additionally, Gabriela Acosta of Paramus, NJ, and Gissell Cruzgabriel of the Bronx, NY, were arrested for outstanding warrants. Later that same day, during a motor vehicle stop, a 41-year-old female, whose name was not disclosed, was arrested for another outstanding warrant.

A concerning incident unfolded on 02/07/2024, when officers responded to a well-being check involving a juvenile. This led to the arrest of a 48-year-old male of Secaucus, whose name was not disclosed, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

On 02/08/2024, Sorin Marcu of Secaucus, NJ, aged 46, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash investigation.

A suspicious package report on 02/09/2024 at the Aloft Hotel led to the arrest of a 45-year-old male, Edgar Chavez of Temecula, CA, for drug-related offenses. Chavez was found in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and psilocybin.

Further incidents on 02/10/2024 included the arrest of a 31-year-old male, Emmanuel Coronado-Rosario of Jersey City, NJ, for an outstanding warrant. Later, at Extended Stay America, a 26-year-old male, Zaire Jacobs of Paterson, NJ, was arrested for drug-related offenses, and a 41-year-old male, Miguel Pacheco of Hawthorne, NJ, was apprehended for being a fugitive from justice.

The week concluded with police responding to a report at Kohl’s, adding to the array of challenges faced by the Secaucus Police Department.
