Bayonne Police have reported shoplifting and drug arrests over the past two day period. According to Police Captain Eric Amato, 42-year old Thomas H. Rosenberg of Danforth Avenue in Jersey City was arrested on Thursday afternoon at 12:25 for stealing $231.64 worth of merchandise from the ShopRite supermarket. He was issued a summons.
On Thursday night at 10:09, 19-year old Chjoice M. Rice-Brown was taken into custody in the area of 47th Street and Avenue C for narcotics violations. According to Captain Amato, he Van Nostrand Avenue in Jersey City. Rice-Brown was issued a summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (MDMA) and possession of 50 grams or less of marijuana.
Captain Amato also reports that Timothy A. Reaves, age 49 of Claremont Avenue in Jersey City, was taken into custody at a minute past midnight on Friday morning for various narcotics violations. The arrest occurred at the city line and Ken nedy Boulevard.
Reaves was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (MDMA) and possession of a CDC with the intent to distribute.
