Jersey City will host the Newport 5K Marathon on Sunday morning, May 1. The event begins at 9 am and is expected to end by 10:10 am.
As a result of the event, several streets will be closed:
- Christopher Columbus Drive between Varick Street and Green Street
- Washington Blvd. between Park Lane North and Christopher Columbus Drive
- Green Street between Christopher Columbus Drive and Washington Blvd.
Traffic delays are expected during the marathon. Plan accordingly.
