Community Meeting on Thursday Regarding Proposed Redevelopment of 930 Monroe Street, Public Park at 800 Monroe Street

A community meeting regarding the proposed redevelopment of 930 Monroe Street located within the Western Edge Redevelopment Plan Area will be held TONIGHT, Thursday, July 15 at 6:30 PM.  The Conditionally Designated Redeveloper, Monroe Properties, LLC, will present their proposal, which also includes the development of a public park on 1.4 acres of land on the 800 block of Monroe Street. No action will be taken by the Governing Body this evening.   A Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Hoboken and Monroe Properties, LLC and an Amendment to the Western Edge Redevelopment Plan may be presented at a future meeting of the Hoboken City Council for consideration and action. All interested members of the public are encouraged to attend the community meeting via virtual Zoom.
