At approximately 5:20 p.m., Jersey City Police Department received reports of a pedestrian struck in the vicinity. Responding officers discovered the lifeless body of 58-year-old Billiah Mogusu, a Jersey City resident, near the intersection. She was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after their arrival.
