Cool temperatures did not keep hundreds of Union City families from attending an Easter Fair along 15th Street between Bergenline and New York York Avenues on Saturday afternoon. There were all sorts of activities for the kids, including a bouncy house and
a bungee jump. There was a music stage set up, where the Easter Bunny and friends performed. Goody bags were given out by volunteers which had, of course, chocolate Easter bunnies. There was free popcorn and and cotton candy as well.
Union City Commissioner Maryury Martinetti was on hand to welcome the families and wish them a Happy Easter. She said Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners enjoy being able to provide free events such as the Easter Fair to the community.
There were smiles all around as everyone in attendance had a great time ahead of the Easter Sunday holiday.
