Union City held a Peruvian Bicentennial Independence Celebration, in collaboration with ‘Peruanos Unidos NJ en Union City’. Notable guests such as Juan Ramiro Torres, Philip Rebatta, and Cesar Navarrete were presented with proclamations for their help to the community as immigrants of Peru. The celebration was dedicated to the proud country, and everyone from the community was invited with free admission. The event took place at 12 pm, and was located on 38th street and Palisade Avenue.
