Domestic Violence Response Team Volunteers

Hoboken Police Department announced the arrest of 30-year-old Lenny Bolger of Union City, who was wanted on multiple charges out of Jersey City.

On March 12th, 2024, Police Officer Rose Kanan observed Bolger on the 300 block of Jackson Street and recognized him to have multiple warrants for his arrest.

Bolger initially gave a false identity but fled on foot when officers approached him. After a brief chase, during which Bolger attempted to harm officers by swinging a gate toward them, he was captured in a parking lot on the 200 block of Harrison Street.

Bolger was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and hindering by giving false information. He also had multiple warrants out of Jersey City for robbery, aggravated assault, and making terroristic threats. Bolger was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
