Congratulations to go out to Union City Police Detective Steve Molina, who has been recognized as the Union City PBA Local 8 Member of the Year for 2023.
In a Facebook post earlier this afternoon, Det. Molina was recognized for his overall performance within the department and within the union. In his free time, Molina teaches and coaches soccer to youth within the community.
The post reads, “He has proven to be an exceptional officer. His passion for the job and his outgoing personality are just a few of the positive traits he brings to the agency.
Congratulations, Detective Molina. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.”
Several weeks ago Hudson TV profiled the work Detective Molina does with the youth boys soccer team, and last week we featured a story on the PBA’s Christmas Toy Parade, of which Molina took part in.
