If your car is parked on Bergenline Avenue in Union City, it’s time to move it so the Department of Public Works can continue its snow removal. The city received anywhere from 10 inches to a foot of snowfall during this week’s storm.
Beginning at 8 o’clock this morning, Friday, there will be no parking allowed along Bergenline Avenue from 15th to 30th Streets. The city advices residents to remove their vehicles before 8 am.
In addition, snow removal began on at 6 am on some other streets, so you should have moved your vehicles already. Residents on the 400 block of 39th Street between Bergenline Avenue and New York Avenue, plus those on 5th, 6th and West Streets are advised there is no parking until snow removal is completed.
Residents on the 700 block of 29th Street between Central and Summit Avenues, plus those living on the 300 block of 15th Street are advised that snow removal begins at 10 am today. Cars must be removed.
Meters covered with red bags indicate that no parking is permitted.
