A community health and wellness fair was held Saturday at Union City High School.

Numerous local agencies, and students from the city’s high schools, were on hand providing valuable information to the general public.

The health and wellness fair was a collaborative effort between the city and the Board of Education.  It was the fourth fair over the past few months.

There were numerous vendors on hand providing health information and screenings, as well as high school students offering information on the importance of using sun screen to help prevent skin cancer, and healthy food options.

Approximately 300 residents took advantage of the services provided during Saturday’s event.
