La ciudad de Union organizará la feria de salud comunitaria el jueves 24 de septiembre por la noche

An important community health event is scheduled to take place in Union City tomorrow night, Thursday, September 24th.  It is intended to protect the public’s health while protecting your benefits.

The Union City Community Health Fair will take place at Union City High School from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 2500 Kennedy Boulevard.

Mayor Brian Stack, the Union City Board of Commissioners, Mercedes Joaquin, Director of Community Relations for the Union City Board of Education and the New Jersey Reentry Corporation invite all residents to receive free health screenings, treatment and recovery resources, social services, and health education.

The public will be able to learn what changes to Medicaid and SNAP could mean for families and where to find addiction and mental health support.  The schedule is as follows:

6:30–7:45 p.m.
“Protecting Your Benefits: Changes to Medicaid and SNAP”

7:45–8:35 p.m.
“Addiction and Mental Health: Treatment and Recovery”

The event is free and open to everyone.  No appointment is needed to attend the health fair.
