Union City woman charged for multiple thefts in Hoboken

Linda Mojica-Nova, 26-year-old woman of Union City has been charged with multiple thefts according to Hoboken Police.

On January 30th the Hoboken Police Department began taking reports of package thefts from residents of 1031 Clinton Street. During a two week period the number of reports grew and it was apparent the building was being targeted. During that time frame the Hoboken Investigations Bureau started looking into the incidents.  All the reports were all assigned to the Hoboken Street Crimes Unit which took lead in the investigation. The unit led by Detective Sergeant Willie Collins began reviewing all the information in an effort to identify a pattern. During the investigation the Street Crimes Detectives were able to develop and ultimately identify a female actor.

On February 12th Detectives Paul Quinn, Fabian Quinones, and Officer Connor Milne were able to place Linda Monjica-Novo under arrest in Union City with the help of Union City Police Department. Ms. Monjica –Novo was charged a total five times for the incidents taken place during the two week period.  The total value amount of the property exceeded $500.00 dollars. At this time none of the property has been recovered.

Once the arrest process was completed Ms. Monjica-Novo was released on summons.
