Union City’s COVID Vaccination Clinic Closed on Saturday

The Union City COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be closed on Saturday, February 20 due to the inclement weather throughout the United States which has delayed shipments from arriving.  Union City says it is working with the New Jersey Department of Health and the CDC to get its shipment and get appointments rescheduled as soon as possible, but they emphasize that this is a national problem.

If you had an appointment scheduled for Saturday, February 20, you should have received a telephone call to reschedule your appointment.  If you have not received a call, you should call 201-348-5747, Monday through Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm.

For second doses of the vaccine, be advised that the date on the back of your card is the date you are eligible to received a vaccine.  it is not an appointment date.

you will be called for your second dose appointment.  In accordance with CDC guidelines, your second dose may be administered up to six weeks after you receive your first dose.

Union City officials thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience the shipment delays may have caused.
