Hudson County wants to hear from the public.  It wants to learn what residents’ feelings and ideas are concerning the Vision Zero Plan for vehicular, pedestrian and cyclists’ safety on County roads.
As such, Vision Zero Chairman and Hudson County Executive Craig Guy, has announced the Hudson County Vision Zero Public Meeting schedule to inform residents about the County’s Vision Zero Plan and to hear from residents about their suggestions and ideas for improving safety on County roads.  There will be four public meetings, one of which will be virtual.
The meetings will be held in a workshop style where residents are invited to drop by at any time during the scheduled meeting times.
In a statement, Guy said, “The Vision Zero Action Plan is an important step in eliminating deaths and serious injuries on our roadways, and it’s important that as we develop this plan, the communities that will be helped by this initiative have a voice.  During these public meetings, Hudson County looks forward to hearing your thoughts on the initiative and our strategies to prioritize mobility for all roadway users in Hudson County, making our streets safer for everyone.”
The Vision Zero Task Force will host four public meetings.  During these meetings, County staff will be on-hand to highlight Vision Zero outreach efforts, provide briefings on the latest updates, and answer any questions regarding the initiative.
