Weehawken Day on the Waterfront Brings Community Together

The Township of Weehawken could not have asked for a more perfect day to come together for its annual, municipal celebration.  Weehawken Day on the Waterfront 2021 was back on Saturday following last year’s cancellation due to the pandemic.

Residents came out to take part in all sorts of family activities.  Rides for the kids, carnival-like games, food, a huge music stage with the Manhnattan skyline as its backdrop, booths featuring municipal services all made for a day of fresh air, sunshine and mingling with neighbors.  Mayor Richard Turner and members of the township Council were on hand to greet residents and talk about whatever was on people’s minds.

The event got underway at noon and was expected to conclude at 6 pm.
