“The Shorts,” 5 mini-plays totally directed and produced by Weehawken High School students, will be staged on Monday, May 20. The students were rehearsing when Hudson TV stopped by this week.
The plays are both serious and comedic. Each of the five student directors was responsible for auditioning the actors, directing the production, writing the mini-play and overseeing the backstage aspects, such as set design and lighting.

The mini plays, or Shorts, are Shrekera, Sardines, Hot Love In The Moonlight, Dolorifuge and The Chocolate Affair. “Weehawken Shorts” will begin at 7 pm, for one night only.
