Earlier this week, Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, the Township Council and the Police Department welcomed a new, female police officer to the ranks.
Newly hired SLEO II Ashley Chirino took her oath of office on August 25th. Chirino spent 23 weeks at the Hudson County Public Safety Training Center. She graduated following her training and hard work.
