Weehawken & Township Schools To Administer Pfizer Vaccines For Students Aged 5 – 17

The Township of Weehawken announced this morning that it is partnering with the Board of Education’s two elementary schools, Webster and Roosevelt, to offer COVID-19 Pfizer vaccines to students aged 5 through 17 this Friday, November 19.

Registration is required.

The Pfizer clinic will take place at the Webster School between 9 and 11 am.  Then later that day, the clinic will be held at the Roosevelt School between 1 and 5 pm.  A second Pfizer clinic will take place at the Webster School on Saturday, November 20 between 9 am and 1 pm.

Children aged five and older are eligible, but remember, registration is required.  You must register here: tinyurl.com/WeeVax5   Second shots will occur in the same locations three weeks later on December 10th or 11th, 2021.

Weehawken Superintendent of Schools Eric Crespo stated, “This is an optional opportunity for families. The vaccine is optional and you are welcome to take your child to another clinic or your pediatrician. Children aged between 5-11 must be accompanied by one of their parents. Children between the ages of 12-18 must have a permission slip signed by a parent. (see below)
