A thoroughly enjoyable evening on Thursday at the Daniel Webster School in Weehawken.
The 6th annual Student Art Show took place. According to school principal Isabel McGinley, 400 pre-kindergarten through 2nd graders had their creative works on display for family and friends to see.
The event was well attended, with parents walking around the gymnasium, big smiles on their faces, as they looked at the art work created by their children.
Art teacher Erica Trojan told Hudson TV the art show is a good way for the children to express themselves, especially at such a young age. All in all, the evening was a huge success, with the children admiring not only their own works, but those of their classmates and friends.
