34-year old Ernesto Martinez of West New York has been arrested by police in Norwood, Bergen County. According to the Daily Voice, which was the first to report this story, the handyman was seen sitting in his truck when two, female passersby spotted him masturbating. He had been working a job in the area.
According to Norwood Police Chief Jeff Krapels, the incident took place at approximately 5:30 on Tuesday afternoon. The women told police the truck was parked on Rio Vista Drive when, according to the Daily Voice article, they “saw him busy doing something.”
Police say Martinez drove off when he was spotted, but he was arrested by police several minutes later.
He is charged with lewdness. Martinez was released pending a court appearance at a future date.
