The West New York Police Department lost a valued member of its Department on Friday, as 28-year veteran, Lieutenant Denny Acosta retired. Members of the Department and the community gathered in front of Town Hall to wish the Lieutenant the best in the years ahead, as he ended his final shift.

Lt. Acosta served with the West New York Ambulance Squad beginning in 1983, before joining the police force in 1994.
