The town of West New York has scheduled a community food drive to assist families and individuals who may be in need of assistance of filling their closets or kitchen tables.
The food drive is set to take place on Tuesday, June 13th at 11:30 am. The event will be held at the Department of Public Works Garage, located at 53rd Street and Dewey Avenue. No.appointment is required, but food will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
You should bring a shopping cart or shopping bag with you.
The food drive is made possible thanks to the efforts of the Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services. The types and variety of foods which will be distributed will not be known until the actual time of the event.
