The town of West New York has scheduled a food drive for those residents in need of some assistance in providing food for their families. The event will take place this coming Tuesday, May 23rd beginning at 11:30 am.
The food giveaway is on a first come, first served basis.
It will be held at the Little League Field, located at 54th Street between Park Avenue and Broadway.
Bring a shopping bag or a shopping cart with you.
The Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services has made this food drive possible, although officials will not know what specific items will be given away until the food shipments arrive the morning of the giveaway.
