Residents of West New York in need of some additional food this holiday season can attend a first come, first serve food drive on Tuesday, December 14. The event will begin at 12-noon. It will take place at the DPW Garage, located at 63rd Street and Dewey Avenue.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez and the Board of Commissioners are continuing to take proactive steps to safely make sure every West New Yorker has access to the food they need.
Tuesday’s food distribution is made possible thanks to the Hudson Country Department of Heath and Human Services. Mayor Rodriguez said, due to the County, “we are able to have another great food drive.”
