Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5, is going to be a big day in West New York in terms of parking. Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez and Town officials will be fulfilling a promise to provide more parking spaces for residents and shoppers.
At 12 noon the Town will dedicate the newly constructed, parking garage on 51st Street, off of Bergenline Avenue. The structure will be the first, new parking garage constructed in the neighborhood in approximately twelve years.
At the same time, the parking lot on 57th Street behind the old Modell’s on Bergenline will be closed. This will become the location for the Town’s new, Public Library.
Free parking or with meters and the expensive app that charge you 50% on top…40 cents for every 75 cents…nice deal…we need free parking spaces, no more parking meters…
