2 Cars Stolen in Bayonne, Another Burglarized

It was not a good day for car owners in Bayonne on Monday.  According to Police Captain Eric Amato, two Hondas were stolen and another car was burglarized.

The burglary happened first, at 4:23 a.m. on the 1100 block of JF Kennedy Boulevard.  No other details were released and an investigation is underway.

37 minutes later, at 5 a.m., a 2012, black Honda CR-V, was stolen on West 46th Street.  Amato says police are conducting an investigation into the theft, as they are with the theft of a second Honda at 3:45 in the afternoon.

The second car is a 2000 gold Accord.  It was stolen from Broadway and 11th Street.

Bayonne Police did make one arrest on Monday night.  34-year old Nicholas R. Cupo was taken into custody at 11:01 from the area of 9th Street and Avenue C.  The resident of Broadway is charged with possession of heroin and narcotic paraphernalia.  He was taken to the Hudson County Jail in Kearny.
