Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller has released the following arrest information for the week of June 21:
Secaucus Police Blotter: 06/21/2021-06/27/2021
- On 06/21/2021 at 6:26 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in reference to a Burglary and Theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on 3rd Street on 06/8/2021, the Secaucus Police responded to Lodi, NJ and took into custody a 27 year old male, Isaiah Ortiz-Hayre of Garfield, NJ for Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)], Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Ortiz-Hayre was further charged with Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(1)], Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Theft [2C:20-3A] in relation to a Theft and Burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred on 3rd Street on 06/11/2021. Mr. Ortiz-Hayre was served 2 complaint warrants in regards to both incidents and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
- On 06/24/2021 at 1:02 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Bryan Villalta-Rojas of Union City, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2000.00. Mr. Villalta-Rojas was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
- On 06/25/2021 at 2:45 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 50 year old male, Andre Vega of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Vega was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 6 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
- On 06/27/2021 at 4:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32 year old male, Troy Frye of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Frye was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
