Businesses and nonprofits impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Henri and Hurricane Ida can now apply for financial assistance through the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA) Henri/Ida Business Assistance Grant Program.
The application for the program will open today, Friday, September 17, at 9 a.m.
The program will provide grants of up to $5,000 to businesses and nonprofits that have up to 50 full-time equivalent employees.
The applications is first-come, first-served.

Hudson County residents can apply for FEMA disaster assistance online at http://disasterassistance.gov. If it is not possible to apply online, residents can call 800-621-3362 (TTY:800-462-7585). The toll-free telephone lines operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. CDT, seven days a week.
