| Hoboken New Year’s Day Closures Announced, Clinic Schedule Announced
In observance of New Year’s Day, municipal offices will be closed on Friday, December 31. Street cleaning will be suspended on Friday, December 31. All waste collection will occur as regularly scheduled. Parking meters will be suspended on New Year’s Day, January 1. They will, however, be in effect thereafter. In response to the surge in COVID-19 cases in Hoboken and Hudson County, Hop service will continue to be temporarily suspended through January 7. For the week of January 3, the Hoboken Parking Utility will have office hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Due to the holiday, the City’s vaccine and testing clinics are closed this weekend and will resume on Monday, January 3. Residents must place completely bare trees at the curb on Tuesday and Thursday evenings after 7:30 p.m. (9 p.m. on Washington Street) for pick up the next morning. Remove all lights, ornaments, and decorations. Trees must not be placed in plastic bags. |
