Video Credit: Hud Post The Secaucus Police Department wants to thank some good samaritans who assisted law enforcement on Wednesday afternoon in rescuing a woman trapped beneath an SUV. In a Facebook post earlier this morning, the Secaucus Police stated:
On yesterday’s date at approximately 1:56pm in the area of The Exchange, the Secaucus Police Department received numerous 911 calls of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian stuck underneath a vehicle (collision is still under investigation). Upon arrival, the responding Secaucus police officers, along with Hudson County Sheriffs Officers and numerous good samaritans worked together in lifting the heavy SUV/crossover vehicle off of the victim so that immediate aid could be rendered. We were unable to ascertain any of the helpful citizens’ information as our focus was on the injured victim and time was of the essence. The victim is currently listed in stable condition at the hospital.
