North Bergen has a great family activity available today on the lake in Braddock Park. KAYAKING…and it’s free. The township’s Recreation Department, courtesy of Commissioner Hugo Cabrera and Mayor Nicholas Sacco, along with Urban Paddle, are providing this fun activity for North Bergen residents.
Registration is required and you must be a resident of North Bergen. Registration is available at the township Recreation Center at6300 Meadowview Avenue and 1231 Kennedy Boulevard. Slots are for one hour and there’s a limit of 300 today.
The kayaking was a huge success on Friday and Saturday, so head on over to the park between 12 noon and 6 pm this afternoon and spend a day on the water. All equipment will be provided.
