Secaucus Police Uncover Major Drug Haul Following Routine Parking Violation

Secaucus, NJ – A routine parking violation led to a major drug bust in Secaucus. On the evening of November 14, 2023, Police Officers Justin Machno and Kiril Petrov, part of the “Power Shift” patrol unit, observed a 2009 Acura TL parked improperly at 700 Plaza Drive around 8:23 P.M.

The vehicle, driven by 29-year-old New York resident Noah Gregg, initially caught the officers’ attention due to its parking position and a license plate that was “not on file.” Gregg, upon returning to the vehicle, denied any knowledge of it, despite being seen exiting the car earlier by Officer Machno.

The officers’ suspicions led to the involvement of Secaucus Police K-9 Brix, who indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed over 1,800 pills of suspected ecstasy and more than 4.5 ounces of suspected cocaine. Additionally, a stolen North Carolina license plate was found inside the vehicle.

Chief Dennis Miller lauded the officers’ efforts, stating, “This arrest speaks volumes of the quality of officers in our department. Their ability to escalate a parking violation into a significant narcotics arrest showcases their training and experience.”

Noah Gregg faces multiple charges, including Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and two counts of Possession of CDS. He is currently held at the Hudson County Jail. It is important to note that these charges are accusations, and Gregg is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
