UPDATE: West New York Food Distribution On Valentine's Day POSTPONED

**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH                                                                                                                                            West New York residents in need of food assistance can stop by Miller Park on Jackson Street, between 57th and 59th Streets on Wednesday, February 14th at 11 am.  The municipality, through the assistance of Mayor Albio Sires, the Board of Commissioners and the Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services, will be handing out food stuffs.  Canned goods, boxed goods and produce will be available on a first come, first served basis until supplies run out.

Residents should bring their own shopping carts or bags.

The distribution of food is part of an ongoing federal program administered through the County which generally occurs every two weeks at various locations throughout the municipality.

The town will not know what food items will be available until the trucks arrive on site.
