It’s Wednesday, May 22nd and Hoboken is about to hold its Memorial Day Parade at 6:30 pm. The event will closed down Washington Street to traffic between Observer Highway and 11th Street from 5:30 through 8 pm.
The parade, which is hosted by the American Legion Post 107 and the city, will march from City Hall, north on Washington Street to a viewing stand at the Elks Club, located at 1005 Washington Street.
New Jersey Transit buses will be diverted to Hudson Street and Bloomfield Street during the street closure. Drivers and Hop riders can expect delays and traffic to be re-routed during that time.
