The weather cleared on Monday night, as the Town of West New York held a festive ceremony in front of Town Hall, culminating with the lighting of the municipal Christmas tree.
Santa and Mr.s Claus were on hand for photos, and entertainment was provided by the Memorial High School Band and Choir. There were performances by the Recreaton Cheerleaders and the Onieda Dance School.

Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners wished residents well, hoping everyone has a healthy and joyous holiday season and a terrific 2025.
Hundreds of residents attended the tree lighting, which went off without a hitch following a day of rain.

Cookies and refreshments were served and everyone had a wonderful time ringing in the holiday season on 60th Street.
