The smiles on children’s faces were plenty on Saturday, as Weehawken held an Easter Egg Hunt at Arricale Field for youngsters through the age of eight.
With Louisa Park undergoing major renovations, this year’s hunt moved to Arricale, and the morning could not have been better. Great weather, warm and sunny, as some 400 township children hunted for eggs and had their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.

After they completed their hunt and had their photos snapped, each child received a box containing a chocolate funny they could enjoy once they returned home.

The township even provided free, at home COVID tests for any families which wanted one. All in all, you could not have asked for a better morning.
