The fact that people are struggling in this economy was evident on Wednesday afternoon, as hundreds attended a job fair sponsored by North Hudson Community Action Corporation at Union City High School. The line to enter the school for the three hour job fair began forming long before the doors opened.
The event, co-sponsored by the city and Hudson County Schools of Technology Resource Center, featured 52 vendors offering employment in a wide variety of fields, everything from heath care, to law enforcement to hospitality.

This was the second, NHCAC-sponsored job fair held in Union City this year. NHCAC has been holding job fairs in Hudson County for the past 15 years.

No word on when the next job fair will be taking place.
