On April 29, 2026 the Chiefs of Police Association of Hudson County awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors in the amount of $2,000.00 each.   The scholarships were awarded to high school seniors who are affiliated with the Association’s membership.  The scholarships are specifically awarded to recognize the recipient’s academic excellence, after they were approved by the Association’s Scholarship Committee.  The scholarships were presented to the recipients at the 200 Club of Hudson County’s 38th Annual Valor Awards Luncheon at the Liberty House in Jersey City.

The first scholarship was awarded to Ian Geisler, the son of retired Bayonne Police Chief Robert Geisler.  Ian will be attending Dean College to study Criminal Justice.

The second scholarship was awarded to Willow Farley, the daughter of North Bergen Police Chief Robert Farley.  Willow has applied to nine different colleges but still has not decided where she will attend.

“I am honored to award these scholarships and congratulate the recipents on their academic achievements,” President, Secaucus Chief Dennis Miller said. “The Chiefs of Police Association of Hudson County is an integral part of the law enforcement community within Hudson County who will recognize the commitment of Hudson County’s law enforcement professionals through awards such as these.”
