ESPN is calling him the best hitter on any of the American teams playing in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Mason Rincon certainly showed why that might be the case tonight!!
The 12-year old, who started the game on the mound for Bayonne, came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning with tonight’s game tied at 1-1, and he blasted a no doubt, walk off home run to dead center field, high into the trees giving Bayonne, the Metro Champs, the victory over Bridgewater, Massachusetts by a score of 2-1.
Bayonne now advances to the next round, opponent to be determined.
