HOBOKEN — Police are asking the public for help identifying people of interest in a car burglary and theft on Washington Street.
Hoboken police said the break-in happened in the early hours of Sept. 19. On Tuesday, the department posted surveillance images and asked anyone who recognizes the people shown — or has information — to come forward.
Tips can go to ProtopapadakisN@hobokenpdnj.gov or 201-420-2100, extension 3158.
Washington Street is one of Hoboken’s busiest corridors for shops, restaurants, and parked cars. Car break-ins matter to residents and visitors who leave bags, phones, and other valuables overnight.
Police did not release a vehicle description, items taken, or how many cars were hit in the Tuesday tip ask.
